Please note, this position is pending.The Enterprise Architect will work on developing and implementing the structure and operations business processes of the AFSFC in order to assist the organization in determining how to achieve its current and future objectives most efficiently. This architect will provide expertise and development in the following areas: requirements, acquisitions, systems engineering, data analytics, programming and budgeting of funds, interoperability, and portfolio management. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:· The work effort involves support to all related SAP, Alternate Compensatory Control Measure (ACCM) and STO activities · Establish a central repository for AFSFC IT Capability architectures· Develop and maintain EA models required to support the AFSFC requirements process· Develop and maintain the AFSFC IT portfolio capability development roadmaps depicting the major delivery efforts anticipated or underway· Provide EA modeling support to internal AFSFC support activities, analyze, identify and incorporate updates to guidance, policies, and procedures into the AFSFC business processes· Coordinate and review the Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) and Business Process· Reengineering (BPR) compliance submissions and facilitate resolution of compliance issues supporting annual funding certifications· Submit Architecture to the appropriate IT Capability Configuration Control Board (CCB) for review and approval of architecture content· Participate in regular CCB review of architecture content being considered for changes and/or promotion to the IT Capabilities production environment· Manage and maintain the AFSFC encyclopedias, to include version control, migration, and archiving of the AFSFC architecture products· Develop Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts to support A&A Authorization to operate (ATO) and SACA packages· Maintain awareness of AF and DOD strategy and plans for structure to support enterprise architecture and requirements toolsets· Recommend and document courses of action that may include migration/transition of the central repository to other environments, software, or service platforms· Review and recommend response to information support plans (ISPs) impacting the IT Capabilities hosting environment· Attend EA related working groups, forums, and meetings to remain informed and engaged on latest activity, policies, and procedures· Inspect compliance fields in the Information Technology Investment Portfolio -Suite (ITIPS): pass data, list of interfaces, what BEA version asserted to, and BEA compliant· Complete Weekly Activity Report (WAR) detailing all activities and accomplishments for the week and meet delivery schedules or coordinated tasked suspense· Participate in status meetings on an “as needed” basis to review current and planned activities for the major task areas· Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assignedRequirements & Qualifications:Education:· Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experienceLicenses & Certifications:· Secret Security Clearance· IA System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I Certification IAQ DoD 8570-01.M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program and AFMAN 17-1303, Cybersecurity Workforce Improvement Program· Preferred: International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) Certified Information· Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (or Associate) certificationExperience:· Required minimum of seven (7) years of a combination of Enterprise Architecture and Information· Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) experience, 3 years of which must be specifically associated with· system accreditation and authorization work, which may include RMF, DOD Information AssuranceSkills & Abilities:· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Ability to hold yourself and others accountable on short-term and long-term goals· Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks· Understanding of Intel-based computers using Microsoft based operating systems· Use of Microsoft Office software applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPointThis opportunity offers career development and growth, competitive compensation, and a robust benefits package with 4 Weeks PTO w/ rollover, 11 paid holidays, company paid events and training, and 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
