$10,000 Sign On Bonus
Responsibilities
- Ensures there are systems in place to facilitate the effective and efficient day to day operation of the Department of Nursing
- Responsible for utilizing the performance improvement process to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Nursing Department
- Monitors clinical data to ensure the facility is meeting the clinical needs of each resident and the clinical goals of the facility
- Initiates appropriate and timely problem identification and problem solving in response to changes in clinical data
- Routinely monitors census, resident acuity and staffing levels to ensure effective and efficient staffing patterns are in place
- In the absence of the Administrator is responsible for oversight of the facility operations
- Ensures there are systems in place to facilitate timely and effective clinical decision making regarding admission of new residents to the facility
- Participates in the monitoring of patient referrals and actual admissions identifying potential barriers to admissions and recommends solutions to accommodate additional types of patients
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Current Maryland RN licensure
- Progressive management experience in a skilled nursing facility highly recommended
