Future Technologies is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Cleark.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk performs clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping goods of the given command as well as receiving incoming shipments, following DoD or Navy established guidelines. For non-routine problems, this clerk receives specific guidance from supervisor or other Government authorities, and can coordinate the activities of other workers engaged in handling goods to be shipped or being received. Shipping duties typically involve the following: verifying that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents; insuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles, and preparing and keeping records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading. Receiving duties typically involve the following: verifying the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records, checking for damaged goods, insuring that goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the given command, and preparing and keeping records of goods received.The position will involve receipt, storage, inventory, and shipment of equipment associated with the assigned projects, as well as operating hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. It will support Hazardous Material, material disposition via DLA Disposition Services. It may involve transport of Government-owned systems/subsystems, parts, and equipment on a daily basis, as well as operation of Government-owned and/or Government-leased vehicles. Some limited travel and field services (industrial safety training, printing, labeling, and vehicle and truck rentals) may be involved.
Required:
• High School Diploma or equivalency certification three years’ experience in logistics, supply, or related areas of work, or military training in logistics or supply arena and a minimum of two years related experience.• Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.• U.S. Citizen.• Final SECRET Clearance; those currently eligible for SECRET Clearance will be considered.
Preferred:
• Experience in naval weapons support is a plus.
• Experience with managing ERP/SAP Warehouse Management and Property Accountability System of Record (APSR) or similar systems, as well as the use of tools such as One Touch Support (OTS) and WebFLIS, is a plus.
