FurnitureLab is Hiring a Remote Account Manager (Inside Sales)

Today, we are seeking a new Account Manager to join our inside sales team. Our ideal candidate would fit well in the above-mentioned environment and be smart, outgoing, well-organized, assertive, and able to create lasting and productive relationships with our clients using mostly email and phone communication. Some travel is required (currently suspended, but typically 4x per year).
Primary Responsibilities
• Develop relationships with customers to drive Opportunities and Sales from those firms.
• Guide customers through the sales process on the phone, answering questions about furniture needs, giving expert-level recommendations, preparing quotes, and entering orders.
• Manage projects through our comprehensive database system (Mac OSX based).
• Consistently meet and exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets (baseline targets).
• Establish and leverage personal relationships with key accounts (dealers, designers, end-users) to drive Opportunities and Sales from those firms.
Job Qualifications
• College degree or minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Sales experience, preferably in the contract furniture industry
• Comfortable with technology
• Experience using customer-relationship management software (CRM)
• Design experience (preferred)
