GENERAL SUMMARY
This position is responsible for determining production standards for our company's products by establishing quality control systems and setting product requirement rules. Their duties include identifying the specifications for an ideal product, determining an appropriate level of variation and monitoring quality assurance rates.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Quality Procedures
• Determine amount of variation allowable for a material
• Document allowable variation
• Create Inspection procedures
• Create/modify quality inspection tests
Quality Assurance
• Ensure processes adhere to quality standards
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
• Ensure products/processes adhere to quality standards
• Root cause analysis
• Provide solutions to causes
Engineering Team member
• Attend and contribute to team meetings
• Provide information and support to FDI team members
• Communicates and represents the organization to customers and other external sources
• Establish and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• BS/BA in Applicable Engineering Discipline
• 2-3 year experience as a Quality Engineer
• Prior experience with ISO preferred
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Advanced knowledge of product installation environment
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models
• Knowledge of the practical application of applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services
