80 hours bi-weekly
1st Shift, flexible
The primary responsibility of the Financial Service Representative will be to interview all uninsured and underinsured patients to determine their eligibility for various financial assistance programs. The Financial Service Representative will also educate and counsel patients regarding their financial liability. May also perform cashier duties as needed, along with posting cash to the computer system from lockboxes, direct deposits, zero pays, and postings as assigned.
Requirements
Business or Medical Associates degree preferred, or a minimum of two years within an office setting. Experience with customer service, phones, and use of computer systems are required. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and ability to navigate the internet are strongly desired.
