Full Circle Recruiting, Llc is Hiring a Quality Manager Near Muskegon, MI

Full Circle is seeking a Quality Manager for an awesome opportunity in Muskegon MI area.

JOB FUNCTION:

Reports directly to the Plant Manager and is charged with assisting in the development and maintenance of a system to assure that all products manufactured by the organization meet customer specifications and achieve superior quality and reliability levels.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Drives the development and implementation of a quality production program to ensure conformity of purchased material and final products to quality standards.
  • Implements, revises, and updates the Quality Management Manual to incorporate statistical control programs, as well as all work instructions/forms.
  • Develops and maintains a Supplier Quality Index to assure that only high-quality vendors are retained. 
  • Meets with vendors, customers, quality representatives, and Company personnel to discuss and resolve quality and environmental issues as required. 
  • Prepares and represents the organization during internal audits, third-party audits, and customer audits.
  • Prepares accurate and timely reports of all audit findings which are representative of the quality performance of the item under audit, to enable the company to maintain its quality system.
  • Assists departments with the coordination of audit information and recommends appropriate data-gathering mechanisms, procedures, etc.
  • Full responsibility for approval of all sample submissions of new products and engineering changes, PPAP paperwork and participates in APQP meetings.
  • Leads cross functional team for all corrective actions and oversees implementation.
  • Sets quality objectives and related training
  • Works according to company quality and environmental system requirements, and customer quality requirements

FUNCTION REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:

College degree or equivalent work experience required. Statistical analysis, precision measurement, and process capability studies will become an intricate part of the quality assurance program; therefore, formal education in courses related to these areas such as mathematics, statistics, Six Sigma, and industrial processes are essential for this position. 

Skills:

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the customer base and internally, both verbal and written. Computer skills in windows environment required.

Position Environment:
