Fulcrum HR Consulting is Hiring a Tile Installer Near Lincoln, NE

We are assisting our client in looking for a Tile Installer to join their team. In this position, you follow the tiling installation process from start to finish including removing old flooring, cutting new tiles, mixing mortar, and fit new tiles onto the floor without cracking them. Our ideal candidate has experience with both flooring installation and concrete work.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Remove old flooring
  • Measure the floor space and cut the appropriate amount of tiles
  • Spread mortar across the floor
  • Layout the tiles on top of the mortar
  • Apply grout in between tiles
  • Clean the surface and the job site

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Construction, flooring, or concrete work experience
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Physical strength and stamina
  • Completion of an apprenticeship preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Lincoln, NE: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Tile laying: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
