MECHANICAL ENGINEER
JOB SUMMARY
Design and development of elevator components driven by customer and safety code related
requirements. This position exercises discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Create and/or modify 3D models, design drawings and bills of material for manufacturing and field installation.
- Perform design calculations and analysis to ensure integrity of the design.
- Verify and interpret elevator and building code requirements and how they pertain to our products.
- Provide technical support to factory personnel during the manufacturing process and field personal during the installation process.
- Coordinate with factory and production to optimize designs for manufacturability.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in structural design and analysis
- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with AutoDesk, AutoCAD, Revit, and Inventor software, specifically Inventor Finite Element Analysis and iLogic systems.

- Job duties are performed mainly within an established office environment under normal lighting and climate-controlled tolerances. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
