FSL HR Team is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Phoenix, AZ

Job Description Position Title: Talent Acquisition Special Reports To: Human Resources Director Summary The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, selecting, hiring, and onboarding top talent in the market for FSL. This position does not have direct reports. Essential Functions Plan and implement company talent acquisition strategy Develop/update company’s policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing Conduct sourcing activities in order to fill open positions Perform compensation analysis for current positions Perform analysis of organizational development and anticipate future employment needs Design and manage recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, interviews etc.) Serve as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or on-campus recruiting events Represent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities Counsel the candidate on company benefits, salary, and company culture Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities Responsible for onboarding candidates (pre- and post-employment) and new employee orientation Manages internal recruiting process (internal transfers and promotions) Manage company job descriptions Assists with managing employment files and record retention Generate monthly updates for company’s leadership about upcoming talent acquisition initiatives Create monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics Communicate regularly with HR and Operations to get a clear view of company’s hiring needs and organizational goals Work closely with marketing department to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges Proactively seek and research talent acquisition trends in order to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies Other duties as needed. Requirements Education/Experience/Credentials/Knowledge/Understanding Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in experience Min of 2 years’ experience with recruiting, ATS systems, organizational development Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain Valid AZ Driver’s License and acceptable MVR Pass a pre-employment drug test Skills Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills to include communicating clearly, effectively, tactfully, and patiently to a diverse population Strong interpersonal skills and demeanor with the ability to build rapport, garner trust, and inspire others Proficient in the use of a PC; in a Windows environment; in the use of the Internet; and in the use of MS Office Applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel Proficient in the use of HRIS and ATS applications Abilities Ability to take initiative, demonstrate proactivity, anticipate the needs of the team and remain self-motivated Ability to work both independently and with teams in a fast-paced environment Ability to understand and solve problems by applying intermediate analytical skills to include collecting all the relevant information and data needed to address the problem; organizing, classifying and synthesizing the data into fundamental issues; from the information, identifying the most probable causes of the problem; reducing the information down into manageable components; identifying the logical outcomes from the analyses of the data collected; and, identifying the options and solutions for addressing the problems analyzed Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Willingness and ability to embody FSL’s core values:Have passion for our missionFollow the golden ruleDo the right thingBegin with a can-do attitudeFind a better wayBe your best Physical Demands: Ability to frequently see, hear, speak, and be physically flexible; occasionally sit, stand, walk, bend, run and drive; seldom stoop, climb carry, squat, kneel, push; and lift up to 30 lbs Ability to withstand moderate noise levels
