About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly motivated Associate Category Manager to play an important role on the Merchandising team as we expand the Private Label business. This is an ideal position for a candidate who is looking to build their career in E-Commerce within a direct to consumer brand. This candidate is eager to take on new challenges with growing business, while being able to follow through and deliver results. 

Specific responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day workflow of our Private Label brand by managing creative workflow from development to implementation, managing seasonal product development timelines, and providing marketing support.
• Responsible for new product onboarding, item setup, ordering processes, and vendor follow-ups to ensure products are available and ready to sell
• Manage site merchandising for all private label SKU’s
• Coordinate and summarize on order management and open purchase orders
• Provide support with weekly/monthly reporting 
• Assist with vendor sourcing
• Partner closely with Customer Service to troubleshoot customer and product issues
• Oversee sample management 
• Manage deliverables and escalate issues to team with proposals of next steps/solution

What you’ll need:

• 2-3 years of experience in: Merchandising, Sourcing, Product Development, or Buying related role
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field
• Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint with ability to learn new software and systems
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
• Highly organized and self-disciplined with ability to prioritize tasks and resources
• Detail oriented, efficient, self-starter, highly productive and collaborative work approach
• Experience working with cross-functional and external partners such as merchandising, production, marketing, and manufacturers
