BACKGROUND

POSITION SUMMARY
This executive is both a technical and business resource to support the technical working groups and committees.
They are responsible for the maintenance of the FDX framework, keeping the internal stakeholders apprised via recurring updates.
They and their staff coordinate and facilitate meetings (both virtual and in-person) for the technical efforts of the organization and its members.
They will direct the work of the FDX product team which includes the Documentation Manager, the Certification Technical Program Manager, consultants and an external technical consultancy.
The products include documents like: the API, the Security Guidelines and Baseline, the UX Guidelines, and Certification Baseline as well as tools like a Reference Implementation and Registry.
This person will draw upon their expertise to exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques to design, implement, modify and support a variety of software products and services to support the needs of our international standards body.
The DP and their staff will manage the technical stack (JIRA, BitBucket, Confluence, Apigee, and Jmeter) and have responsibility for the deployment, configuration, administration and programming as well as the overall health and operational readiness as well as key metrics and reports.
Key team deliverables are product/spec roadmaps and artifacts in support of the framework.
They will assist in the documentation of same, including supporting materials and artifacts for members and the public.
This person will represent FDX at technical conferences and in meetings with other technical standards bodies (both in the US and abroad).
This senior role is a direct report to the Managing Director.
