FS-ISAC is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative

BACKGROUND

The Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC), was created by and for members and operated as a member-owned 501(c)(6), not-for-profit entity. FS-ISAC serves as a bi-directional information and intelligence organization leading the financial services sector efforts to protect against and mitigate cyber and physical threats and incidents against member financial firms

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a self-motivated and charismatic inside sales representative to join the business development team. Responsibilities include full sales cycle management for our sponsorship and membership programs. The successful candidate should be personable and available to build instant rapport, have excellent active listening skills to address prospect or member hesitancies and have internal competitiveness that wants to beat targets. This position is critical to the success of business development and the growth of FS-ISAC.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Determine prospect eligibility and move eligible firms through the sales cycle. KPIs provided after hire.
  • Build trusted relationships with prospects.
  • Manage sales pipeline in Salesforce, accurately represent forecasting.
  • Schedule sales calls, and keep relevant notes and activities in Salesforce.
  • Answer lead and prospect questions; respond as needed with calls and collateral.
  • Participate in business development meetings, and support the team as needed.
  • Use Salesforce and DocuSign daily to support sending sales orders.
  • Identify potential problems; communicate properly with the manager or team and/or elevate issues.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Use Salesforce to manage sales cycle; Microsoft Office 365 products experience.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with sales targets.
  • Demonstrate business acumen, and follow sales process to predict revenue accurately.
  • Proven business writing skills, ability to clearly articulate FS-ISAC brand and value.
  • Be an active listener and speak clearly when working with colleagues, members, and prospects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • College degree or 2-4 years of documented work experience in the field of business or sales.
  • Demonstrated (past work experience) knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft 365.
  • Background in the financial services sector is desirable, but not necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position reports to Reston, VA headquarters and will work a hybrid office and home office schedule. The candidate must be able to meet the physical demands of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
