Frontwave Credit Union is Hiring a Project Manager (Onsite) Near Oceanside, CA

Overview

The Project Manager effectively oversees and provides direction to project team; including the assignment of responsibilities, tasks, and technical functions. Ensures projects are managed with a sense of urgency to implementation schedules and user expectations.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following non-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. All duties are to be performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations as well as Credit Union policies and procedures:

  • Responsible for overall project management and use of project management methodologies: Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid. The project manager will be required to scope business requirements, project budget, project planning/estimation, project delivery and implementation. They will be responsible for communicating project direction and status to the client, for managing client expectations and for building successful client relationships.
  • Develops project plans, goals, and budget with input from subject matter experts and/or vendors; identifies resources needed, develops schedules and methods of measuring results including; cost benefit analysis, assessing software applications, developing project charters and project plans, develop project teams, research application alternatives, workflow reengineering, and status reporting of their projects.
  • Assembles and coordinates project team members, assigns individual responsibilities and organizes and manages all phases of the project life cycle.
  • Plans and oversees the preparation of project materials and dissemination of project communications. Communicates and interacts with the Executive team and project team members on status of specific project on a regular basis (weekly/monthly) Produces project meeting minutes, project reports and project budgets as necessary.
  • Works first hand with each of the various departments within the credit union to help them crystallize and define their project requests and/or process workflows.
  • Provides first-line problem determination/resolution utilizing a professional and friendly demeanor with members and staff. Acts as the liaison throughout each project ensuring thorough communications and positive results. Conducts project audits and post-project reviews to assure objectives are met.
  • Ensures that there is an effective handoff of completed projects with an after action analysis of results, lessons learned and open action items.
  • Excellent databased decision making and quantitative analysis experience, along with product or project management experience
  • Ability to deploy change management approaches, best practices and tools that will support the enterprise transformation within complex programs.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

Minimum high school education or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

Five to eight years’ experience managing projects in multiple areas.

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Possess the skills to work with Windows Microsoft Office and willingness to learn Project Management Software. 

The following skills are preferred but not required for this position:

  • PMP Certification
  • Certified Agile Practitioner
  • Certified Scrum Master 

Salary Range: $96,127.20-$144,190.80
