Frontier Technology Inc. is Hiring a Senior Network Administrator Near Dayton, OH
Overview
Frontier Technology Inc. seeking a Senior Network Administrator to join our corporate Information Technology team located in Dayton, OH. This is a unique opportunity where you will manage a wide array of data center servers, hardware, software, and both on-prem and cloud hosted environments. You will work closely with other IT team members, providing top-tier support on IT platforms and solutions for FTI.
You will also partner with our operations developers, scientists, and programmers to provide platforms and solutions for FTI’s new or emerging technology.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that IT delivery and support is second to none
- Help manage corporate firewalls and Unified Threat Management hardware
- Support on premise SIEM and Tenable solutions
- Analyze and evaluate anomalous network or system activity
- Strong technical knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and operating systems
- Primarily responsible for FTI’s Active Directory, Azure integration and Group Policy Objects
- Create new hire accounts, apply ACLs and manage user account lifecycle process
- Support Windows Server and RedHat Linux Systems
- Support for on-premise HP Servers, switches, and SAN
- Work with a talented team of IT administrators, network analysts, and cyber architects to ensure that IT delivery and support is second to none
- Assist in supporting Enterprise applications such as Microsoft 365, MS Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Zero Trust architecture
- Responsible for installing, upgrading, configuring, and deploying IT applications in an on-prem and cloud hosted hybrid environment
- Ability to conduct research into IT issues and to present ideas
Education/Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field from accredited college is highly preferred, will consider those with equivalent experience
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in the design, delivery, and support of enterprise IT systems, networks, and environments
- Experience with Splunk, Palo Alto, Fortinet a plus
- Experience supporting and administering Kubernetes a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be highly self-motivated and directed
- Experience with DoD Government Cyber Security Risk Management principles, standards, and compliance a plus
