Overview
FTI is looking for a full-time Information Assurance (IA) Analyst/Security Engineer to support the Department of Defense and other government agencies. This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the success of a high-profile DoD program with Congressional mandates for the national security of DoD cyber programs. Our ideal candidate will have vast experience in building and safeguard classified systems having served as an IA Analyst. Proven technical capabilities within the classified environment, as well as experience in building from the ground-up a safeguarding of Classified systems.

Responsibilities
- Build systems and procedures to safeguard information systems, network, databases, and Web-based security for classified DoD systems.
- Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard information systems, network, databases, and Web-based security for classified DoD systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and monitor systems, network, databases, and Web for potential system breaches.
- Report, investigate and resolve security incidents.
- Respond to alerts from information security tool monitoring tools such as SIEMs
- Supporting the configuration and maintenance of a SIEM
- Support implementation, configuration, and maintenance of HBSS and other Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) products
- Administer ACAS scanning infrastructure, scanning policy, scan schedules, and other related vulnerability management activities
- Recommend and implement changes to enhance systems security and prevent unauthorized access per IAVMs, OPORDs, and industry best practices
- Support the ISSO in RMF assess and authorization (A&A) package management and A&A events as it relates to documentation, system and network configuration, and reporting.
Education/Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in systems administrator (DoD classified) IT related field
- A minimum Active DOD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
- IAT-II baseline certification
- Windows computing environment certifications
- Linux computing environment certifications
- VMWare computing environment certifications
