The Receiving Associate will assist with the efficient processing, verification and distribution of received merchandise shipments. The Receiving Associate will abide by company policies and procedures and overall business practices of the Back of House (BOH). With direction from the Assistant Store Manager of Operations and Receiving Lead, the Receiving Associate will be responsible for performing duties in the BOH related to the receipt and processing of merchandise, stocking and organizing merchandise in accordance to company procedures. The Receiving Associate will assist the BOH team in maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the stockroom. The Receiving Associate will assist with processing trucks, ensuring the merchandise is received properly and prepared for the sales floor according to company standards. This position reports directly into the ASM of Operations. Receiving Associate Primary Responsibilities Support the integrity of the store inventory through proper execution of inventory management policies. Assure the quality and condition of new merchandise meets company standards. Ensure the merchandise received matches manifests and/or inventory transfer reports. Perform a variety of operational activities which include, but are not limited to: processing, ticketing and assembly of merchandise. Communicate with ASM of Operations and Receiving Lead on new product arrivals, assembly execution and floorset readiness. Work collaboratively together on floorsets and continual replenishment of inventory to create an extraordinary guest experience. Be extremely organized with a strong attention to detail, as well as be willing to go above and beyond for our guests. Ensure that the guests are the primary focus and all non-selling tasks are secondary. The Guest is always our number one priority.
