Summary:
The Utility Person (Dishwasher) cleans dishes, flatware, glasses, and cooking utensils in accordance with department policy. This individual also supports the sanitation of the loading dock, kitchen and buffets, following cleaning schedule and daily needs. It is required that this position be in full compliance with HIPAA.
Responsibilities:

Completes daily and weekly sanitation assignments as assigned and scheduled.
- Ensures that dishes, flatware and cooking utensils are cleaned and sanitized in a timely fashion according to departmental standards.
- Interacts and communicates in a respectful manner with coworkers, other staff, management and residents.
- Follows all sanitation guidelines as set forth by directors.
- Dresses in a clean, neat uniform; practices good personal hygiene.
- Attends training sessions as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Able to follow instructions as given by supervisor.
- Self-motivated and disciplined individual and ability to work unsupervised and to learn new tasks as the department grows and develops.
- Able to form cooperative, effective, productive working relationships.
- Ability to communicate with other dining room personnel and production staff and management.
Education and Other Qualifications:- High School Diploma preferred, but not required.
- Must complete and pass a physical examination with tuberculosis (TB) screen prior to employment.
- Employment contingent upon fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice.
