SALES ENABLEMENT MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Sales Enablement Manager is responsible for deploying program and initiatives that enable customer-facing teams to execute the core-aspects of their jobs more effectively, especially as it relates to selling and revenue performance. This position is critical in building support and momentum for some of the key initiatives that drive behaviors and results on the frontline.

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build the infrastructure for a sustainable enablement platform
  • Manage external vendors and contract negotiation
  • Oversee end-to-end performance
  • Serve as a liaison between, sales, marketing, and product teams
  • Work with sales leadership to develop, execute, optimize, and assess enablement programs
  • Conduct needs assessments to determine sales enablement priorities
  • Build a trusted relationship with account executives
  • Provide effective onboarding and training programs for sales reps
  • Build market knowledge and support ongoing training
  • Facilitate content creation in collaboration with sales and marketing teams
  • Gather and relay feedback to continuously iterate on the enablement strategy
  • Use performance data to identify knowledge or skill gaps across the sales team
  • Identify and maintain a sales enablement platform to ensure it is easily accessible
  • Coach account executives on key skills and competencies
  • Track sales enablement metrics and KPIs
  • Demonstrate the business impact of enablement efforts

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • 5 years' experience in sales enablement, revenue-facing roles, sales training/support
  • 5 years' experience in a high-performance sales organization in sales, enablement or learning and development
  • Experience with content management and learning management systems
  • Able to build internal relationships with sales and marketing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organized and skilled at project management
  • Ability to collaborate with many different teams and personalities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices, methodologies, and technologies
  • Involvement and participation in sales enablement groups or communities
  • Superb communication skills
