Friends Fellowship Community, a not-for-profit retirement community, is looking for a Director of Social Services. Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in social work

· One year of experience in a health care setting working directly with residents and families (Preferred)

Job Expectations Include:

· Foster a positive self-image for residents through continued social contact, decision-making opportunities and independence

· Create an atmosphere of growth for our residents

· Ensure the social and emotional needs of each resident are met

· Stimulate social contact and interaction

· Serve as a link between the resident and community resources

· Advocate for and protect the rights of residents

· Counsel residents and their families as needed

· Recruit and manage volunteers for the organization
