Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will assist with the short term forecast of revenues and expenditures and advise the Company on future planning. The Senior Financial Analyst will perform a variety of financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, assisting with financial planning, performing research and analysis, preparing reports, system configuration, and accounting master data setup. The Senior Financial Analyst will engage with various functional groups companywide to provide financial guidance and help refine processes that will facilitate financial reporting. This person must have experience in a manufacturing operation, cash flow management, and a solid understanding of business processes, key drivers, and financial reporting. This will be a hybrid Role reporting into the office (Swedesboro, Indianapolis or Montezuma) 3 Days a week and 2 days will be remote. 

Ultimately, you will ensure high integrity and accuracy in the financial planning process and ensure it aligns with business objectives

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models through benchmarking and process analysis
• Ensure support analytics are prepared timely and accurately
• Develop and maintain comprehensive revenue forecasts and analysis: revenue, partner, channel, product mix, price, trends, etc.
• Develop and maintain cost of goods sold forecasts and in-depth analysis: material costs, direct labor, waste, freight, etc.
• Prepare analysis and forecasts for labor and contractors
• Work with department heads on cost projections, budgeting, variance analysis, and cost saving strategies
• Prepare forecasts and variance reporting of balance sheet working capital accounts
• Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
• Review accounting transactions for data accuracy when necessary
• Assist in establishing financial policies
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions
• Review and analyze financial statements and reports
• Develop, track, and report business-level KPI’s and financial analytics; prepare financial reports
• Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes
• Assist project teams with financial guidance
• Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations

Qualifications:

Experience / Education:

• BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• 7 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and financial modeling
• Hi initiative - identifying issues and seeking to resolve them without being told
• Proven work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Analyst or similar role
• Extensive experience with Cost of Goods Sold (Analysis) a huge plus
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Suite (G Suite)
• GAAP plus but not required
