Title: Software Engineer 
Duration: 1 year with possible extension 
Location: Remote. Must live and work in AZ or CA or IL or IN or NV or NY or OR or TX or UT or WA

Hours: Minimum 40 Hours/Week 

Role:
• Responsible for supporting data analysis for data produced by metrology tools and support data analysis R&D of microLEDs. 
• Analyze metrology data files.
• Generate reports summarizing data analysis.
• Maintain and update existing metrology analysis code base.
• Communicating results with a cross-functional technical team.
• Support data analysis software development.

Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• A background in software and algorithm development and looking to gain experience in a diverse and fast-moving semiconductor industry environment.
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Basic knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
• Basic ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Advanced Python programming skills
• Developing software within a version controlled environment.
• 2 years experience with advanced Python programming skills.
• Working with version control software (get hub).
• Developing software within a version controlled environment.
• Strong written documentation and coding.

Preferred Skills:
• Image Analysis
• Algorithm Development
• Experience with III-V semiconductor LED or laser diode microscopy
• Familiarity of semiconductor materials-related or device-related metrology techniques e.g. AFM, SEM, PL, IV, CL, wafer morphology

Education: BSCSE or related field required.
