User Interface Developer
FreightVerify is a supply chain technology company that provides real-time transportation visibility and business intelligence for global enterprise clients. As a neutral and independent third party, FreightVerify simplifies complex global supply chains through a common design language to leverage new and emerging tracking technologies.
As a User Interface Developer you will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and support of internal and external integrations and API’s that are vital to global business operations at FreightVerify. In addition to technical deliverables, you will also be responsible for collaborating effectively with internal business partners and project team members. Our preferred candidate is a senior -developer with a strong aptitude in the areas outlined below. However, this position is open to all levels and will be filled by the candidate that best fits the needs of this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain customer-facing features and Single Page Applications(SPAs), based on the React framework
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders on UI/UX design and implementation
- Ensure the technical feasibility of proposed designs
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Follow best practices around accessibility, responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Create and deliver software products using agile methodologies
- Participate in a culture of continuous learning, by staying up-to-date on emerging technologies and software products
- Assist with other duties, as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; combination of education, training and relevant experience may be considered
- Proven work experience as a front-end developer using the React framework
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML and CSS
- In-depth knowledge of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
- Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with Flutter based mobile development is a plus
