What?
This position will verify compliance of materials with known specifications or standards with a focus on government products. This may include assembling lot packets for release, compiling results of sampling, grading and testing of materials in accordance with known specifications or standards.
Main aspects of the role include:

• Conducts necessary sampling and analytical testing to verify compliance with known specifications.
• Travels to local contract storage facility and company distribution center to retrieve photos and or samples for microbiological and/or analytical testing.
• Set up and tear down of cutting for sensory testing needed for product release.
• Manages product release support documentation in accordance with defined procedures and retention requirements.

You!
The ideal candidate will have high school diploma or equivalent education with minimum 1 year experience in alpha numeric data entry. The individual should have experience in a technical environment, with preference being given to those with food manufacturing and knowledge of analytical laboratory equipment and procedures. In addition, this individual should have the ability to complete and review documentation with a high degree of accuracy and completeness. This individual should have strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft office programs. Lastly, the ability and flexibility of working hours (nights/weekends) is required to support company needs.
