The Enosburg Falls Middle-High School is seeking a Director of School Counseling for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full year (260 day) position.
The Director of School Counseling at EFMHS leads a department of two additional high school counselors, one middle school counselor, one high school counselor who is also our grade 6-12 SAP, and the registrar. Additionally, the director coordinates services with two contracted mental health clinicians and our family engagement specialist. With approximately 400 students in grades 6-12, our full-time counselors have caseloads of about 100 students, which allows them to provide comprehensive support to students, small groups, and classes. The director generally carries a smaller caseload of high school students. The director also coordinates recruitment of students from towns with high school choice and is a member of the school leadership team.

Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union (FNESU) is a Pre-K-12 system comprised of 6 rural towns in Northern Vermont; Bakersfield, Berkshire, Enosburg, Montgomery, Richford and Sheldon. FNESU consists of six Elementary Schools, two Middle Schools, two High Schools, and one Technical Career Center. FNESU serves approximately 1,950 students within our six towns. FNESU is situated in rural northwestern Vermont, which is the perfect setting for outdoor enthusiasts. We are located just 20 miles from Jay Peak Resort, 32 miles from Smuggler's Notch, and within driving distance to several other surrounding ski resorts. There are plenty of areas to hike, swim, cross-country ski, snowmobile, and mountain bike. We are an hour away from Burlington and just an hour and a half from Montreal.
