Foxdale Village is a Quaker-directed, non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in State College, PA. Foxdale Village was founded on the values of treating all with dignity and respect. We are seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join our caring and dedicated team.

Housekeeper Job Responsibilities include:

• Perform deep-cleaning and routine cleaning tasks primarily for the cottages and/or apartments to maintain an orderly, clean, and attractive condition.
• Tasks may include vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning counters, ovens, mirrors, and windows, disinfecting surfaces, emptying trash, making beds, and performing other housekeeping and/or laundry tasks as directed.
• Recognize and report safety hazards and maintenance needs.
• Transport residents as necessary.
• Be available to adjust to departmental needs and assist as needed in housekeeping duties within the Community Building, and Health Center.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least one year of related experience is preferred.
• Must possess a valid PA driver’s license for possible transportation duties.
• Must possess strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to bend, stand, stoop, push, pull and lift in course of work day.
