Description

Foxdale Village is a Quaker-directed, non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in State College, PA. Foxdale Village was founded on the values of treating all with dignity and loving respect. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistance (CNA) to work evening shift in our Personal Care Skilled Nursing Care Unit.

This CNA position works evening shifts, 80 hours per two-week pay period; five, 8 hours shifts per week which includes every other weekend; shift hours are 2:00pm - 10:30pm 

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Duties Include:

• Deliver direct care to residents according to the individualized plans of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressing, toileting, and transferring.
• Respond to call bells, safety devices, and resident requests in a timely manner.
• Accurately document resident care at electronic kiosks using PointClickCare.
• Identify and report changes in physical, psychological, and social well-being.
• Ability to interact with fellow Foxdale Team members, residents, and residents’ family members in a climate-controlled environment.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications Include:

• High school diploma or its equivalent and completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License.
• Possess or have the ability to obtain a valid CPR Certification.
• Experience: Prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.
• Language: Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
• Math: Must be able to complete tasks using basic math skills.
• Computer: Must be able to enter resident care information via a touchscreen.
