JOB TITLE: Loader Operator

REPORTS TO: PLANT MANAGER

JOB DUTIES:

· Operate the Loader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.

· Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.

· Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area.

· Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.

· Maintain plant grounds by keeping yard clean.

· Responsible for keeping bins topped off and materials pushed up in the pits.

· Lifting and handling of other construction materials.

· Inspect plant every day and report problems to Plant Manager

· Notify Plant Manager or Assistant Plant Manager (if Plant Manager not available) immediately of any vehicle accidents, safety violations, or job-related injuries

· Maintain appearance of batch office

· Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager or Assistant Plant Manager
