The Security Officer will be a member of a small dynamic team delivering great service to our internal and external guests. This position reports to the Security Manager. U.S. work authorization is required for this position. Key Elements of the Job Perform dispatching duties within the Security office to include report writing, key distribution, daily shift log, answering telephone calls, monitoring the Simplex fire alarm system and viewing the closed circuit television monitors. Perform at least two patrols of the property on foot – to include all buildings, public areas, pools and guest bungalows. Document safety hazards throughout the resort. Respond to medical calls involving guests, visitors or employees on the property. Respond to fire alarm calls in the guest rooms, restaurants and public/back of the house buildings. Respond to locked out guest calls or employee key entries into secure buildings or the storeroom after purchasing hours. Repair malfunctioning door locks and in room safes. Respond to Noise or smoking complaints. Collect, log and distribute lost and found left by guests or visitors on the property. Perform bag checks of employees leaving property.
