What We Expect: Job duties include but are not limited to: Coordinate the selection, training, development, and evaluation of employees and managers in the Food & Beverage Division through effective management and leadership to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; long-range strategic planning for outlet operation. Control labor and operating expenses through effective planning, budgeting, purchasing decisions, policy making, and inventory control while focusing on creative cost control and revenue generation solutions to maximize profit in the division and hotel. The ability to be visible in the operation, recognize and maintain relationships with regular guests as well as cultivate relationships with new patrons through effective marketing and personal relationships. The ability to work closely with the General Manager and Planning Committee to design an effective menus, wine lists, and amenity options while ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price. Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments. Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. Ideal Candidate Will Have: College degree preferably specializing in hotel/ restaurant management or equivalent experience is requires Five to seven years previous experience in multiple food & beverage department head positions Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to adapt based on needs of the guest Exemplary intuitive listening skills along with exceptional oral and written communication Exceptional attention to detail and follow through with outstanding time management and organizational skills Proven problem solving skills and sound judgment Demonstrated ability to efficiently multitask and thrive in a fast paced environment The ability to stay organized and calm under pressure Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States We Offer: Salary Range: $125,000 - $145,000 annual incentive Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance 401K Retirement savings plan Employee Assistance Program Investment in your Wellbeing Life Insurance Complimentary Room nights and discounted rates Free meals and on-site parking Training programs, tuition reimbursement Growth & Development opportunities Four Seasons is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
