Job Description:

This position performs technical and program management tasks in support of Advance Planning (AP) and the modernization process. Effectively communicate with stakeholders in person, via email, and on Teams to obtain planning data to build a schedule for installations (fielding plan) and respond to various datacalls and schedule adjustments. Enter applicable data into required database on a daily basis and perform recurring quality analysis checks. Ensure accuracy and plan optimization by utilizing tools like Excel and Tableau to analyze fielding plan and what-if scenarios.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight, technical and managerial support to Advance Planning Leads and Baseline Managers.
  • Review and analyze fielding plans, government databases, proposed Ships baseline changes, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure changes to Ships’ baselines are integrated and meet mission requirements.
  • Participate in routine and ad hoc meetings to include preparing briefs, capturing notes, and completing action items.
  • Apply analytical techniques in support of the evaluation of program/project objectives, utilizing external databases and tools as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders to gather required information, answer datacalls, and respond to inquiries.
  • Analyze and recommend actions for routine and emergent fielding plan changes and Fleet alteration installation requests.
  • Provide program planning for C4I mission systems to include analyzing fielding requirements, budget constraints, and platform availability.
  • Develop and maintain records within applicable databases.
  • Assist with the execution of AP roles and responsibilities delineated in the pertinent policies and procedures.

  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs, organizations, processes, and procedures.

Required Qualification:

  • Three (3) years of experience with of combined specialized Department of the Navy (DON) experience participating in IPTs, interacting with stakeholders, leading projects, defining customer requirements, developing processes and policies, and utilizing databases.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or five years of experience working at or providing support to NAVWAR/PEO C4I may be used in lieu of a degree.
  • Individual must be proficient in Microsoft applications: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams

Other Requirements:

  • Must possess a current Security Clearance at the secret level.*Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000
*Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000
