Forward Slope, Inc. is seeking an experienced and fast-learning full-stack .NET software engineer to provide software development and sustainment services for a commercial customer in the mortgage industry. This effort includes C# and ASP.NET development, SQL Server maintenance and oversight, and IT support services for both Microsoft Azure and on-premises environments. This position requires that candidates be located in San Diego, CA. Potentially remote position depending on experience.

Required qualifications:

• 8 years of demonstrated full-stack software development experience with:
  • Microsoft .NET programming (C#, VB, ASP.NET
  • Source Code Management (Git)
  • Windows Server administration
  • Microsoft SQL Server database administration and development
  • IIS Web Server administration
  • IT Troubleshooting (i.e., Networking, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure)

Desired qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics
• Basic understanding of financial markets (i.e., mortgages, options)
• Experience with:
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Azure DevOps
  • SAP Crystal Reports
  • XML Parsing and Processing
  • Excel Macros
