Summary:

As an Information Systems Security Manager, you will lead, develop, implement, and administer security procedures for classified computer systems based on the Department of Defense (DoD) and other U.S. Government agency security requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Primary advisor to management and Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all classified information systems security matters and liaison to the local Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Information Systems Security Professional (ISSP) on all matters pertaining to classified information systems.
• Develop, Maintain, and Implement local policies, processes, procedures and compliance with all National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and Office of Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM) requirements
• Conducts periodic self-inspections on local processes and practices to ensure NISP and DAAPM compliance; accurately reports security posture to site, group and corporate leadership
• Ensures that periodic self-assessments of the facility’s classified information systems are conducted as part of the overall facility self-inspection program and that all corrective actions are taken
• Develops, conducts, coordinates and delivers site information systems security education program requirements to all users of the classified information system(s) supporting classified programs.
• Conducts and coordinates investigations into security violations and incidents related to cleared information systems; ensures corrective actions are implemented
• Authors and maintains documentation supporting the Assessment & Authorization (A&A) of assigned systems in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Obtains and maintains NISP Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) access in order to effectively manage all security authorizations for systems under their purview.
• Identifies system security control shortcomings and serves as lead for remediating deficiencies.
• Manage physical security tasks such as managing access control devices and security cameras.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
• Knowledge of information systems security components and best practices including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, data encryption, and other industry-standard techniques and practices.
• Working knowledge of implementing system security controls on different Operating Systems (OS) for both stand-alone and network configurations.
• Experience with Hyper-V and VMware virtualization technologies.
• Working knowledge of security configuration requirements for individual applications (i.e., Microsoft Office, Web Browsers, Network Devices, etc.).
• Knowledge of related utilities and hardware, server hardware and switches, storage management and TCP/IP, network monitoring and tools.
• Must be able to obtain the Information Assurance certification or security training
• Ability to communicate and present reports and findings to senior leadership
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint and Teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related fields
• Active Personal Security Clearance (PCL)
• Experience as an Information System Security Officer/Manager or compliance role.
• Current CompTIA Security /CISSP certification
• RMF Training as specified in the Defense Security Service Assessment and Authorization Process Manual
• DOD 8570.01-M certification at IAM level 3, such as CISM, CISSP, or GSLC.
