Description

As a QA Manager, you will be working in close co-operation with the business customers and teams, and will apply analytical and business skills to evaluate existing and identify new or enhanced systems, products and processes which advance business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of business processes supported by software systems/products
• Conduct and participate in test requirement reviews, design reviews, and change control activities
• Ensures that test requirements fully exercise every aspect of the product
• Collaborate with other team members to understand the scope of test requirements that will be used for automated scripts
• Demonstrate experience with increasingly complex projects
• Prepare and deliver information in a concise, professionally written format
• Prepare and present information to staff in formal settings
• Review, evaluate, and analyze complex information for the purpose of ensuring the department meets established quality standards and remains compliant
• Facilitate problem-solving discussions with a focus on quality improvement
• Organize data into a logical format for oral presentation and in written reports as requested by management
• Facilitate and/or participate in routine meetings with other staff members and management to discuss the accuracy of business requirements
• Analyze the product features, and the product as a whole to be sure it behaves as intended
• Ensure the appropriate test environments are in place and controlled
• Ensure tests are executed within the automated continuous testing framework wherever feasible
• Ensure all non-functional requirements (load, performance, scalability, security, usability, etc.) are met
• Act as an escalation point for the Help Desk to provide a review and assessment of reported defects
• Recommend and own continuous improvement opportunities
• Other duties as assigned by your Manager.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, preferred

· Basic knowledge of Javascript

· Keen attention to detail

· Broad knowledge of Agile methodologies

· Strong communication and team player skills

· Experience with various tools used for data validation and testing
