Forte Specialty Contractors LLC is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Las Vegas, NV

Rapidly expanding development company in Las Vegas and California is inviting interested candidates in a position as a Construction Project Manager to take part in creating our next generation of luxury residential developments and commercial projects. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated candidate that has a strong desire to absorb knowledge while continuing to grow within the company.

Forté provides complete construction services for projects ranging from luxury residential, restaurants and nightclubs to museum exhibits and themed, experiential venues. Forté Specialty Contractors assembles talented teams not just to build spaces and structures, but to create entire experiences.

Summary

The construction Project Manager is responsible for taking design/build projects from the design development phases through execution and final construction phases to its turnover while building confidence and lasting relationships with clients. Each Project Manager has full profit and performance responsibility for his or her projects and unlimited growth potential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration (with relative experience) or have a minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience in new construction, renovation, and interior build-outs.
  • Excellent project, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable with estimating, scheduling, and budgeting of complex construction projects and fluent with construction management and scheduling software.
  • Professional experience on all phases of project administration (pre-construction, construction, and close-out) including comprehensive knowledge and understanding of contracts, subcontracts, plans, and specifications
  • Ability to work effectively through complex problems and possess ability to manage multiple requirements on multiple projects.
  • Integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and in dealing with professionals inside and outside the company.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and records, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, logs, job reports, minutes, submittals, etc.

Financial management of the project including estimating, bidding, buyout, cost tracking, invoices, pay applications, and close-out

Subcontractor selection, buy-out, and relations

Procurement including compliance with specifications and management of long-lead items

Work closely with project superintendents to monitor and adapt schedules while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance

Organize and lead project meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors

Perform other duties as required to ensure that projects are completed within company standards and to clients’ satisfaction

Work with and through others to accomplish project, departmental, and corporate goals.

Maintains client, consultant and subcontractor satisfaction with the implementation of professional and organizational codes of conduct.

Communicate with and evaluate subordinates in relation to goals and expectations with regular follow-up and feedback. Ensure that proper training is provided for and used by subordinates.

The company provides an RSI debit card with the HMO option that you use toward your deductible and medical expenses. You will also have the option to enroll in a health savings account with the PPO option that allows you to contribute pre-taxed wages to pay for eligible medical expenses.
