ForeFlight is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer whose primary job responsibility will be to integrate data from source systems to centralized repositories that help support analysis efforts within ForeFlight. 

This role will help define innovative solutions around batch data processing, Big Data, business intelligence, analytics, and deliver data integration solutions through a full lifecycle. The candidate should be able to deliver technical solutions either independently and/or with the support of peer developers on the team. Strong written and oral communication skills are required to interact with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization. This position requires an individual who is naturally curious, continuously pushing the frontier by learning and applying new concepts and technologies. 

Skills & Requirements

• Strong SQL skills with experience in PostgreSQL
• Ability to join and manipulate large amounts of data efficiently
• Experience with a Business Intelligence visualization tool such as Tableau
• Experience with data pipelining/ETL and analytics tools 
• Comfortable with Java or Python, or other scripting or object-oriented languages like Ruby, C
• Experience tinkering and implementing a variety of products, such as REST APIs, web apps, mobile apps, real-time systems, among others
• Familiarity with AWS products such as Redshift and S3
• Experience with marketing automation software like Vero is a plus
