DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

• Responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining CI/CD pipeline and documentation.
• Act as an SME for Jenkins, Terraform and other CI/CD applications and Code

• Ensure that the technical artifacts required to implement CI/CD solutions are reviewed and developed.
• Work with stakeholders to deploy new playbooks as outlines in weekly sprints.
• Assess the current deployment process to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions towards a continuous deployment and continuous integration (CI/CD).
• Ability to document key processes in Confluence and Jira

Job Responsibilities

• Works with organizational leaders to identify CI/CD initiatives and needs, and designs and implements solutions.
• Supports the organization's CI/CD strategy and service delivery standards.
• Helps develop long-term CI/CD plans and architectures taking into account trends in the field and changing organizational needs.
• Creates and maintains documentation for CI/CD pipeline as related to the architecture team and assists with cross training of team members.
• Strong analytical capability and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or another similar STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) discipline or equivalent work experience in infrastructure engineering preferred.

Experience

• 3 years of experience working as a DevOps engineer in a commercial SaaS product business
