Force Management is Hiring a Marketing Content Manager Near Charlotte, NC

The Marketing Content Manager is a role that will own and support Force Management’s content strategy; as it relates to the brand, digital media channels (website, SEO, PPC, Social) Public Relations activities, and sales and customer success collateral. This person will closely collaborate with the FM Content Director and VP of Marketing on the above efforts and own the management of other content specialists on the team. In daily activities, this content management role will oversee and support the execution of all marketing content and campaigns used to drive demand generation and elevate the Force Management brand.

The content manager will own content creation, strategy and editorial roles, specifically around website content, social media, PPC, SEO, email, sales collateral and other marketing content collateral. This person will also own the role of partnering with outside vendors to support article contributorship and public relationships efforts to elevate the Force Management brand and disseminate Force Management’s thought leadership deeper into B2B markets like; HighTech, FinTech, EdTech, BI&Dev ops.

Ideal Candidate: The Marketing Content Manager must be creative, a clear and concise communicator, have excellent attention to detail, time management skills and the ability to manage people. The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Oversee and manage the creation and distribution of digital and non-digital marketing content curated by other marketing team members.
  • Develop and support other marketing content creators, teaching brand voice and tone, B2B writing best practices, and mastery-level writing skills they can use in future content creation efforts.
  • Tell stories through business writing that conveys the value of complex business solutions.
  • Diverse understanding of SEO writing best practices that can be applied to all marketing content.
  • Confident and poised professional able to articulate the importance of content to drive marketing outcomes; well spoken in a virtual or in-person setting
  • Be proficient at a mastery level in writing and editing B2B collateral and content for high-level audiences.
  • Execute all aspects of turnkey content creation for high-level thought leadership pieces, from concept to published work.
  • Translate complex B2B information into sales consumable content and support other team members in developing this skill.
  • Interface with internal teams to build content work plans that support various business initiatives.
  • Manage multiple writing projects, work with and oversee other content creators and meet content delivery deadlines.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and create digital content to support multiple marketing programs, net new logo acquisition and customer nurturing campaigns.
  • Develop and oversee the content strategy to elevate the FM brand, including, applying for industry recognition, partnering with industry leaders and FM partners to publish coordinated thought leadership content.
  • Develop quarterly campaign content and strategies aimed at driving demand gen from net new logos, investor communities and customers.
  • Strategize and develop sales enablement content to support Force Management’s sales team and Account Managers.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and thought leaders to identify new and timely topics to uplift thought leadership content.
  • Curate and compile effective B2B content strategies for a range of media channels (FM website, webinars, video series, social media, email, etc.)
  • Oversee and monitor Force Management’s corporate social media accounts.
  • Oversee and monitor marketing editorial calendar and dynamic content library.
  • Collaborate with and assist in curating customer success stories and proof points.
  • Support the Revenue Builders Podcast though additional promotional strategies and podcast management activities.
  • Assist in compiling, strategizing and executing video content strategies (webinars, coffee breaks, YouTube).
  • Track engagement with and influence of marketing content assets to assess for ROI, marketing attribution and optimization tactics for further efforts.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant post-undergrad working experience
  • Extremely strong written & oral communication skills
  • Relevant B2B content writing experience
  • Experience using digital platforms to market a brand or organization
  • Experience with marketing automation software

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft tools: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint BA in Journalism, Communications, Writing, or Marketing
  • Proficient with social media and marketing automation software platforms
  • A quick learner with the ability to handle a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • An excellent writer with the ability to publish content quickly
  • A great collaborator with both internal teams and outside partners and customers
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
