RESPONSIBILITIES:
·PerformsystemintegrationandinstallationofproductsandassociatedOEMequipmentto meet customerperformancerequirements.
·Provideprojectoversightfromequipmentinstallationthroughperformanceacceptance.
·Instructcustomer’steammembersinthesafeoperationandmaintenanceofproducts.
·Partnerwiththecustomerandrecommendvalue-addedservicesthatwillhelpthe customerrun their businessmoreefficiently.
·Communicateinformationregarding changesmade tocustomerequipment toappropriate internaldepartmentstechnicaldocumentationupdates(manuals,drawings,oldprogram files,documentation,andin-housetrainingprogram.)
·Assistwithgeneratingand/orupdatingtechnicaldocumentation.
·Fit and assemblecomponentsaccordingtospecificationsandverify conformanceof parts.
·Set-up,repair, and operatemachinetoverify functionality,machinecapability,and performance.
·Provideremotetechnicalservicetocustomers.
2.Completeall documentation fullyand accuratelyandsubmittedwithin the specified time frame.
·Servicereportsaretobecompletedfully,accuratelyandclearlyuponthecompletionof eachvisit.Reviewtheinformationontheservicereportwiththecustomerforaccuracyand acceptance
·Completedandsignedservicereports,expensereports,andtimesheetsmustbe submitted weekly
·ItistheFieldServiceTechnician’sresponsibilityto informthecustomerimmediatelyifyou findtheequipmenttobeinanunsafeconditionorbeingoperatedinanunsafemanner. Youaretoissueawrittenhealthandsafetywarningtothecustomerdescribingtheunsafe conditionorunsafeactwitha copysuppliedtotheTechnicalServiceManager,Operations Manager,andTechnicalServicesCoordinatorforplacementinthecustomerfile.
POSITIONREQUIREMENTS:
·Associatesdegree(orequivalent)inMechatronicsorarelatedfield.
·Minimum5years’experienceintechnicalfieldserviceorapplicationsengineering,and/or equivalentMilitaryeducationand experienceservicing electricalequipment.
·Experienceinterfacingwithbothinternalteammembersandexternalcustomersaspartof a solution-based serviceprocess.
·Experiencediagnosingandrepairingmechanical,electromechanical,and/orelectronic equipment.
·ExperiencewithWebapplicationsaswell asMicrosoftsuiteofproducts.
·Self-motivated,innovativethinkerwhoisresultsdrivenandaction-oriented.
·Analyticalthinkingwith root-causeproblemsolvingability.
·Excellentorganizationalskillswithabilitytoadvancemultipleprojectsconcurrently.
·Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills.
·Operateswith efficiencyandsenseofurgency.
·Willingnesstolearnandadapttochangingenvironmentswithabilitytodeliverresults.
·Demonstratedunderstandingthat customersdetermineoursuccess.
·MusthaveandmaintainavalidDriver’slicense.
·Mustbeabletosecureapassportandwillingtotravelextensivelybothdomesticallyand internationally.
PHYSICALREQUIREMENTSOFTECHNICALSTAFF
·Mustbecapableofstandingforextendedperiods–upto12hoursperday.
·Mustbecapableofworkingincoldenvironments(35-40degreesFahrenheit)andhot environments(90-100 degreesFahrenheit),depending on theconditionsin thecustomer's facility
·Mustbecapableof extensive(80% )overnighttravelandbeable totravelby air
·Mustbeabletoclimbheights,inand outofmachinesandlift up to50lbs;abletoworkin varied customer plant conditions (cold, hot, damp, dusty, high noise level, contact with food and non-foodproducts).
