Overview
Foley & Lardner LLP's Tampa office is currently seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our Estate Planning Practice Group. This person will provide assistance to attorneys and clients in estate planning, estate and trust administration.
Responsibilities
- Draft documents for estate planning, probate and estate administration
- Research tax issues and prepare gift and estate tax returns
- Maintain beneficiary information
- Administer trusts and non-liquid trust assets
- Maintain frequent client contact for administration matters
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of estate and trust administration experience required
- Must have strong Excel knowledge and proficiency with estate and tax software
- Knowledge of beneficiary information, scheduling distributions, processing gifts and receipt of new trust assets is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting to meet required deadlines with minimum supervision
