Responsibilities

REGISTERED NURSE POSITION FOR OUR RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT FACILITY IN GLENDALE, AZ

New Expansion Position with our Residential Treatment Center

Primary Location: Glendale, AZ

Full-Time, 40 hours/week: M-F, 8am-5pm or 4-10's

ED/Hospital Experience Preferred

Manage All Medication On Site / Medication Reconciliation

Comprehensive Nurse Assessments

Schedule Primary Care & Medication Assisted Treatment Appointments

Patient Panel: up to 29

Offering an EXCELLENT SALARY ($73K-$85K depending on years of experience)

Language Differential Pay Available (Additional $2/hour)

$$$ STARTING BONUS PLUS 6 MONTH BONUS $$$ TOTAL: $3000*

    Provides and coordinates supportive services for the integrated patient population at our Community Health Centers, Mobile Health, and Residential Treatment Center
  • Supports the population seeking treatment for substance use disorder (SUD).
  • Contacts/coordinates with patients related to health preventative measures and gaps in care.
  • Interacts with patients and works as part of the care team.
  • Performs health assessments, vital signs, phlebotomy, diagnostic procedures, assists with medication administration and monitoring, coordinates care with other providers (primary care, behavioral health, and medication assisted treatment).
  • Provides education to patients about preventative care, wellness activities and prescribed treatments.
  • Provides nursing services. Performs all duties required of an RN in an Integrated healthcare system.
  • Performs specialized duties as required by special clinical situations or treatment populations consistent with license and scope of practice, including providing patient engagement in treatment, treatment planning and patient education and support
  • Establishes therapeutic relationships with a variety of patients for the purpose of establishing and reaching appropriate health and treatment goals
  • Seeks appropriate Clinical supervision to ensure the provision of effective treatment
  • Ensures documentation of patient encounters in accordance with policies, procedures, and clinical protocols same date of service
  • Manages the medication system at the facility, completes one medication pass per day and documents medication treatment appropriately
  • Serves as on-site medical support: ensuring patients have their correct prescriptions and can attend appointments
  • Works collaboratively with site operational and clinical leaders to ensure an efficient workflow to address medication needs
  • In case of patient referral to the Emergency Department or another facility, coordinate care with appropriate staff at the other facility
  • Support the development of medication and healthcare education for the team at the center
  • Support the Medication Assisted Treatment team and coordinate with other facilities and providers

Qualifications

RN Diploma Required; ADN or BSN

Minimum Experience Preferred: 3-5 years of equivalent combination of experience and education as an RN working in the hospital or acute care setting

JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: RN with the Arizona State Board of Nursing.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Interpersonal skills which allow for professional and positive relationships with co-workers, members, families, and other community members. Good communication skills, evidenced by a non-judgmental approach, effective listening and positive interactions. Strong understanding of substance use, addiction and recovery principles. Knowledge of chronic conditions experienced by those with serious mental illness preferred.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, electronic medical record, NextGen preferred

Must have valid Arizona driver's license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health's driving policy.

Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role. (HR can assist with this process.)
