Foam Holdings, Inc. is Hiring an EHS Specialist (Safety Focus) Near Anderson, SC

Overview

Responsible for the implementation of EHS processes at Foam Holdings locations and fully supporting operational leadership in the execution of EHS programs. In addition, will be responsible for implementing corporate EHS directives with a specific focus on safety management and workers compensation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supports EHS operations for the respected division of assignment in addition to supporting implementation of corporate wide initiatives and programs.
  • Remain informed of all new and changing regulations for the state and country of operations
  • Training of new and existing Plant Management on EHS fundamentals
  • Assisting in reporting of EHS incidents (injuries, chemical spills, etc.), reporting to corporate when required.
  • Implementation and auditing of EHS programs and procedures
  • Assist in development and execution of site EHS committees, driving employee engagement in the EHS process
  • Assist in implementation of EHS software system
  • Develop safety training for all levels of organization
  • Implementation of formal incident investigation procedures
  • Manage and communicate corrective action status to senior leaders as needed
  • First point of contact for all regulatory bodies for each assigned location
  • Prepare and present quarterly performance reports
  • Coordinate and manage disaster recovery protocols and business continuation planning
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree in Occupational Safety & Health or a comparable area of focus is highly preferred with related education and training.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in EHS, safety managemet and multi-site experience preferred.
  • Additionally, experience creating and implementing/supporting safety management systems preferred
