Position Summary:
The CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) Operator I sets-up, performs operator level maintenance, and operates CNC machines and equipment in the manufacturing of FN America components and products.
Job Duties:
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Experience Requirements:
One year of CNC experience and/or training in a metal cutting or manufacturing operation is required. A CNC certificate from an accredited program will be accepted in lieu of the experience requirement.
Skills and Competencies:
All FN America employees are expected to demonstrate accountability, collaboration, effective communication, customer focus, and innovation. Additional requirements of this position include:
Licenses/Certifications
CNC Certification desired.
Working Conditions:
Typical manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noises and dangerous chemicals and machinery. Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds unassisted.
