Overview

The Business Development Coordinator will join FMI during an important time in the firm's evolution. This is a newly created position to accelerate the growth of our consulting practice. In this role, you will work directly with client managers by providing strategic and tactical solutions to increase lead flow that will ultimately generate revenue. The qualified individual will posses the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Business Development Coordinator will report to the Consulting Operations Director and will be based out of our downtown, corporate headquarters in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities

• Work with the corporate marketing team and client managers to proactively leverage FMI’s thought leadership content into more qualified leads and opportunities.
• Optimize various business development channels (peer groups, industry events, etc.).
• Coordinate and oversee our associations and influencer channel.
• Monitor lead queues and transition leads to the appropriate subject matter expert.
• Work with client managers to elevate FMI’s social media approach and strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
• 3-5 years of professional work experience.
• Superior organizational, technical and time management skills.
• Ability to build processes by aligning disparate technology platforms.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and HubSpot preferred but training is available.
• Ability to thrive with minimal direction and supervision in an ambiguous work environment.
