The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for all tasks and duties pertaining to managing accounts payables to ensure efficient, timely processing of transactions associated with FlyingHIGH, Inc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Create purchase orders for all invoices.
· Assign/track purchase order numbers
· Contact vendors for discrepancies such as removable of tax, duplicate or missing invoices.
· Codes and allocates expenses.
· Enter invoices into Quick Books/Account Software
· Review bills for payment and review with the Fiscal Manager
· Maintain the spreadsheet of expenses for associated programs and invoicing.
· Enter credit card charges as received, reconcile to credit card statement upon receipt and assure that all receipts have been
submitted.
· Process support service requests from case managers and respond in a timely manner.
· Maintain receipts for payments made on behalf of clients.
· In coordination with the Finance Manager, provide reports as requested.
· Complete other reasonably related duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Executive Director.
Requirements
- HSD/GED and previous accounts payable experience; Associates degree in accounting preferred;
- Knowledge of general accounting principals;
- Proficiency in computer software;
- Experience in non-profit/social service beneficial.
