The Job - Independent Contractor - Driver
Fluid Truck provides exceptional customer service which requires us to move vehicles in our fleet to and from various locations in the metro area. We are looking for reliable, independent and flexible people to join our network of drivers.
We need drivers in most major metropolitan areas and will not require vehicles to be transported from state to state. Most vehicle moves will be 2 hours or less from the center of the city.
You will be required to use the company’s rideshare (Uber/Lyft) account to reach the vehicle, drive the vehicle to a designated location and use rideshare back to your personal vehicle or home. There is no minimum guarantee for hours worked each week. Hours may also vary depending on when the vehicle is available and may be outside of standard business hours.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills, enjoy working independently and put safety first.
Compensation: $25/hour
Responsibilities
Safely operate various types of vehicles in our fleet including cargo vans, box trucks and pickup trucks
Use our mobile app to document vehicle moves and lock/unlock our vehicles
Must be comfortable using rideshare to travel to and from vehicle locations
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must have a smartphone and be able to use our mobile app
No other experience necessary
