Description

The Engineer Internship role is designed for students to experience hands-on technical challenges that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles. Interns will be mentored in multiple engineering projects, allowing for a real-life learning opportunity. Our goal is to help you understand the design process for new product development, while also understanding the principles and practices for design revisions. Engineering projects will vary in size from small custom manifolds to large complex power unit and test stands with integrated controls. The internship program is finalized each spring in order for the student to begin with their summer break.

Requirements

• Learn to work with sales and customers to determine upfront design requirements
• Assisting with the preliminary design stage, including quoting/estimating the components, final design, manufacturing documentation, and in-house validation
• Assisting engineers with current projects, CAD drawings, participate in design reviews

Basic Qualifications

• Be enrolled in an engineering degree program
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of team
