Mission & Outcomes: This role serves as a key member of the Operations management team. This person shall have domain over the critical back office functions that allow the company to ship, transact and service its customers. The Operations Manager will have direct oversight over a team to ensure that functions such as, purchasing, logistics, inventory control, and distribution all occur timely and with great accuracy to support the rapid growth of the company.

Great Candidates: Will have over 5 years of relatable experience in an Operations/Purchasing/Logistics/Inventory Control/Distribution role with 3-years managing people. Some key requirements: an obsessive-level of detail orientation, assertive internal communication, quality work in a fast-paced environment, build and motivate a team and beat assigned metric goals.

Responsibilities and Role:

• Manages and drives a team to performance excellence
• Reviews and reports operational metrics with team and management including on-time shipping, backlog, inventory accuracy, stockouts, and others
• Drives metrics to improvement; Not satisfied with Good and continually strives for Great
• Escalates unresolved issues with management
• Maintains records within ERP and CRM systems and ensures data integrity
• Investigates transactional or data discrepancies to determine root cause, make corrections and ensure the errors are not repeated
• Shipping/Logistics: vendor management and daily activity/follow-up with 3rd party warehousing
• Purchasing/Inventory: responsibility for product inventory, supply chain, ordering
• Process improvement and SOP documentation: effective, documented processes that are reviewed and trained continually are a backbone of FloWater
• Works closely with Finance and others to process transactions, accurately report on and account for the business, and produce reports to management

Candidate Competencies:

• Denver-based (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in, Business, Logistics or a related area
• 5 years of experience in an Operations related role: Coordination, Distribution, Freight/logistics, Inventory Control
• 3 years of experience in a management role
• Experience scaling up a team or operation
• Time management, organizational and multitasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced team environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities
• Maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals
• Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with various audiences
• Above average software skills. FloWater utilizes the following systems for its core work: MS Office, Gmail Suite, ZenDesk, NetSuite, HubSpot
• Some travel required <10%

Compensation: This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive compensation (DOE), bonus eligible, comprehensive and competitive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, F.S.A, 401k) and Paid Time Off.
