Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Supply Chain Analyst located in Manchester, CT. Reporting to the Sr Materials Manager, the Supply Chain Analyst Willwill be responsible for supporting the development, implementation and market pricing strategies for materials cost review to ensure best / current to the customer and optimize RPPV. What a typical day looks like: Lead for NPI/new BOM start-up activities which include but are not limited to: Drives sourcing/pricing strategies in materials quotations and coordinate implementation within Flex internal departments for NPI programs Presents materials value-add and influence customer to use Flextronics preferred / Vertical Integrated suppliers Interfaces with customer and supplier in new program start-up, setting up new suppliers, new item cost and data integrity Set strategic supplier sourcing and pricing strategy on CPFS and FPFS for NPI programs Coordinate sourcing strategies with GCM teams and drive alternate sourcing for cost / supply assurance. Conduct Regular Materials Cost Review to ensure best / current market pricing to the customer and optimize RPPV to Flex Forecast and Track materials PPV financial performance and Material Margin Targets Total Material Cost Ownership including monthly quote process to end customer, work order variance and inventory review to develop a forward looking cost reduction roadmap. Analyze and monitor reports to ensure no profit leaks and initiate corrective actions when required Manage customer-controlled pricing and BaaN updates (CPCS) Responsible for creating cost and pricing reports using a variety of tools and methods. Prepare buy down analysis on raw components, review with Customer and drive PO collection Review finance simulation file and coordinate standard cost cut in Explore spot buy / FCP opportunities to generate PPV opportunities Drive customer specific RFQ with distribution and for unique parts Any other assigned tasks The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role Ability to work within a team and be self-motivated Detail Oriented and excellent organization skills Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong understanding of ERP systems and functions Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Hands-on individual. Self- starter & Problem solver. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Analytic, motivated. Demonstrated attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
