Job summary: To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Security Manager located in Milpitas, CA. The Security Manager will establish project schedules, financial parameters and technical requirements, managing project from initiation through transfer. What a typical day looks like: Development and planning of security programs including physical security, asset control, supply chain and logistical transportation security. In depth knowledge of Intellectual Property and Confidential Information, the various forms of IP or CI can take and how IP is used within the manufacturing and marketing environments. Conduct internal, external, or intercompany security risk assessment (e.g.: 360 analysis) to identify potential vulnerabilities related to physical security, staff safety & security or asset protection. Day to day management of security programs for assigned sites, perform, and publish threat and vulnerability assessments, physical security surveys and designs, personal protection awareness and travel briefings, periodic threat advisories, route and destination surveys, and protective service assessment and operations. Direct the activities of contract site security officers and other contracted security providers. Manage workplace safety and security programs including workplace and threat of violence awareness & prevention initiatives. Lead workplace and workforce incident response and investigations programs. Perform investigations involving allegations falling within corporate security's responsibilities including burglary, theft, in-transit shortages, crimes against persons and property, and business abuse. Maintains strong partnerships with customer security service providers, site management and law enforcement. Manage supplier, 3PL and supply chain risk assessment initiatives including risk assessments and audit programs. Supports Flex marketing efforts by conducting site visits with customer security representatives. Maintain metrics, training, and awareness programs.
